Nepal Laughing Trekking Program: A 14-Day Journey

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Welcome to Nepal! Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you’ll be greeted by our Nepal Spiritual Trekking Crew and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner with a brief introduction to the laughter therapy sessions that will be part of your journey.

Day 2: Kathmandu Cultural Tour and Laughter Yoga

Start your day with a refreshing laughter yoga session, followed by a guided cultural tour of Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath, and Boudhanath Stupa.

Day 3: Drive to Pokhara

After breakfast, drive to the beautiful city of Pokhara, known for its serene lakes and majestic mountain views. In the evening, enjoy a lakeside stroll and a laughter therapy session by Phewa Lake.

Day 4: Pokhara Sightseeing and Preparation for Trek**

Explore Pokhara’s attractions, including Devi’s Fall, Gupteshwor Cave, and the International Mountain Museum. Spend the afternoon preparing for your trek to Ghorepani.

Day 5: Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga

Start your trek with a drive to Nayapul, followed by a trek to Tikhedhunga. Enjoy the picturesque landscapes and engage in laughter exercises along the way.

Highlights: Beginning of Ghorepani trek, laughter on the trail.

Day 6: Trek to Ghorepani

Continue your trek to Ghorepani, passing through rhododendron forests and charming villages. The day ends with a group laughter session to unwind.

Day 7: Poon Hill Sunrise and Trek to Tadapani

Rise early to hike up to Poon Hill for a breathtaking sunrise over the Himalayas. After soaking in the views, trek to Tadapani, where laughter yoga awaits.

Day 8: Trek to Ghandruk

Trek to the traditional Gurung village of Ghandruk, where you can explore the local culture and enjoy an evening of laughter and storytelling.

Day 9: Trek to Nayapul and Drive Back to Pokhara

Trek back to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara. The rest of the day is free for relaxation or a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, with an optional laughter therapy session.

Day 10: Drive to Chitwan National Park

Drive to Chitwan National Park, famous for its wildlife and jungle activities. In the evening, enjoy a cultural program and a fun group laughter session.

Day 11: Jungle Activities in Chitwan

Embark on a full day of jungle activities, including an elephant safari, canoeing, and bird watching. The day ends with a sunset laughter yoga session by the Rapti River.

Day 12: Drive Back to Kathma

After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu. The evening is free for last-minute shopping or an optional laughter therapy session.

Day 13: Free Day in Kathmandu

Enjoy a free day in Kathmandu to explore at your own pace. You can opt for a final laughter yoga session or simply relax and reflect on your journey.

Day 14: Departure from Kathmandu

Your joyful journey comes to an end. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, carrying with you the memories of laughter and adventure in Nepal.
