Annapurna Base Camp Trek -12 Days

After arrival in Kathmandu, you will see your name or Himalayan Asia Treks . After receiving, you will be warmly greeted by our office representative and transferred to the hotel. You will be shortly briefly by our Trip Planner about program and free time for shopping.

Overnight in Kathmandu.

After taking breakfast, your guide will pick up from your hotel. If you choose by land, it will take 7 hours and explore wonderful view Trishuli River: famous river for white river rafting, small greenery mountain. If you use flight then, it will take 25 min to reach from Kathmandu to Pokhara. You can enjoy in Fewa Lake and colorful lakeside road in evening.

Overnight in Pokhara.

We will take breakfast in Pokhara  and drive to Banthati. After reaching in Banthati,westarts trekking towards Ghorepani. Firstly we face little bit straight more to reach Ulleri and take lunch. After Ulleri, the trail is gradual on the winding trail through the cool shade of pine and rhododendron forest and trail continue with ups and downs and finally reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is one of the famous place in Annapurna Base Camp Trek where we can explore Gurung culture with spectacular view of Annapurna and other mountains.

Overnight in Ghorepani.

Early morning, we hike towards Poon Hill to see sunrise with amazing view of snowcapped mountain like Dhaulagiri, Machapuchare, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Nilgiri. Poon Hill 3210m is most popular view point of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. After taking some snaps in Poonhill, we will hike down Ghorepani. The trail continues with the ridge through pine and rhododendron forests and inclines towards Tadapani.

Overnight in Tadapani.

The trail passes through waterfalls, suspension bridges and couple of ascends and descends with the beautiful rhododendron forests, we will reach a traditional village of Gurungs. We will reach Chhomrung village where we explore the culture and lifestyle of Gurungs people.

Overnight in Chhomrung.

Leaving Chhomrong with taking breakfast, we head towards Himalayan . The trail continues with following the spectacular Modi Khola valley and hiking towards Sinuwa village. We walk through with bamboo forests and can see wild animals like board, monkey, Rhesus and different varieties of bird including Danphe.

Overnight in Himalayan.

After taking breakfast, trek to Annapurna Base Camp, adventurers embark on a thrilling journey that takes them from Machhapuchhre Base Camp to the majestic Annapurna Base Camp. The day’s trek covers a distance of approximately 6 hours, leading hikers through breathtaking landscapes and diverse terrains. As they ascend to an elevation of 4,130 meters, the air becomes crisper, and the surrounding peaks seem to draw closer. The trail unveils panoramic views of the iconic Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) peak, creating a sense of awe and inspiration. Trekkers traverse rocky paths and alpine meadows, surrounded by towering peaks and pristine wilderness. The anticipation builds as they approach Annapurna Base Camp, a sanctuary nestled in the heart of the Himalayas, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and adventure. The day’s trek is not just a physical challenge but a spiritual journey, leaving indelible memories of the grandeur of the Annapurna region.

Overnight in Annapurna Base Camp.

The trek marks an exhilarating journey as adventurers ascend to Bamboo at an elevation of 2,310 meters, a challenging but rewarding 6-hour trek. The trail unfolds through diverse landscapes, weaving its way through lush forests and crossing babbling streams. Trekkers are immersed in the enchanting sights and sounds of the Himalayan wilderness, with towering trees providing occasional glimpses of the surrounding peaks. The crisp mountain air and the rhythmic crunch of gravel beneath each step create a harmonious symphony, making the trek both physically demanding and spiritually invigorating. As Bamboo comes into view, weary but satisfied trekkers are welcomed by the cozy ambiance of the settlement, surrounded by the serene beauty of the mountains, setting the stage for a restful night before the next leg of the adventure.Overnight in Bamboo.

Ascending from Bamboo, we will trek towards Jhinuwa passing through deep forests of bamboo, rhododendron and oak towards Chhomrong. From Chhomrong, the trail steeply down trek, we will reach hot spring located on Modi River banks.

Overnight in Jhinu.

Today is the last day of Annapurna Base Camp Trek. The trail descends down until we see the river stream with climb through valleys and down through the forests. Ascending and descending continues we finally reach the Sewai and drive to Pokhara.

Overnight in Pokhara.

After taking breakfast, we will drive towards Kathmandu. It will take 7-8 hours reach Kathmandu by land. After reaching Kathmandu, you can enjoy in Thamel and in evening we will take towards local restaurant for cultural dinner. You can take domestic flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu also and will take 25 min.

According to your flight schedule, Himalayan Asia Treks staff drops at airport. You will take best memories of Annapurna Base Camp Trek.
