  • Day 1 : Detailed Itinerary

    7:00 AM – Departure from Kathmandu

    • Our journey begins early in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Kathmandu. We’ll drive towards Pharping, located about 19 kilometers south of the city. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours, offering scenic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding hills.

    8:30 AM – Arrival in Pharping

    • Upon arrival in Pharping, we will visit the historic Asura Cave, also known as Yangleshö Cave. This cave is one of the most important pilgrimage sites for Tibetan Buddhists. Here, Guru Rinpoche is believed to have meditated and achieved enlightenment. The cave is small and humble, yet it radiates a powerful spiritual presence.

    9:00 AM – Guided Meditation Session

    • Inside the Asura Cave, you will participate in a guided meditation session. This meditation is designed to help you connect with the profound energies of the cave, allowing for deep introspection and spiritual growth. The session will be led by an experienced meditation instructor familiar with the spiritual significance of the site.

    10:30 AM – Visit to Guru Rinpoche Statues and Monasteries

    • After the meditation, we’ll explore the nearby Guru Rinpoche statues and several ancient monasteries. The 40-feet tall statue of Guru Rinpoche is a prominent landmark in Pharping, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. We’ll also visit the Vajrayogini Temple, a significant site for both Hindus and Buddhists.

    12:00 PM – Lunch Break

    • Enjoy a traditional Nepali lunch at a local restaurant in Pharping. The meal will include a variety of vegetarian dishes, reflecting the local cuisine and the simplicity of the region.

    1:00 PM – Hike to Pharping Hydro Power Station

    • After lunch, we’ll take a short hike to the Pharping Hydro Power Station, Nepal’s first hydroelectric power station. This area is also of historical significance and offers a peaceful environment perfect for a leisurely walk.

    2:00 PM – Visit to Dakshinkali Temple

    • On our way back to Kathmandu, we’ll stop at the Dakshinkali Temple, one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Goddess Kali. Although this site is predominantly Hindu, it showcases the religious harmony in the region, with both Hindus and Buddhists visiting the temple.

    3:00 PM – Drive Back to Kathmandu

    • We’ll start our drive back to Kathmandu, allowing you to relax and reflect on the spiritual experiences of the day.

    4:30 PM – Arrival in Kathmandu
